END POLL: 1 JANUARY 2014

With Dynasty being the last beat of 2013 it’s again that time of the year my friends. We didn’t get NYGz, MC Eiht nor KRS-One, Pete Rock and Get Used To It DVD but it was a powerful year. Be aware, judge strictly on the beats, not the rhymes. It’s the beat that matters in this poll… And good/bad news, this year I didn’t had to cut tracks from the poll because there weren’t as many productions (compared to last year). So who will run away with the award?? This one could be hard to choose from!!

2012 winner: Mind You Business by La Coka Nostra (28%)
2011 winner: You by Evidence (22%)
2010 winner: Première Salve by Soulkast (20%)
2009 winner: Rap Addiction by Blaq Poet (17%)
2008 winner: Say Goodnight by Reks (30%)

In 2008 we had 359 votes, in 2009 we had 950 votes, in 2010 we had 3 118 votes, in 2011 we had 4,098 votes, in 2012 we had 2,454 votes. WHO WILL WIN THE AWARD??? VOTE VOTE VOTE!!

Thank you for your time and support over the years! -gim

    World Premier! Gim whatup!
I witnessed how Preem in the presence of o.a. Deams and Bumpy crafted that beat in Amsterdam. Amazing how Preem did this… 1

The question is more about : what is the least worst DJ Premier beat of 2013

  • Comment from P Wil

It would make it a lil easier if you could make a lil compilation or something to hear em back to back… This isn’t even close. It’s the Ill Bill joint. I also really liked the Mack Wilds, Dynasty, and Demigodz ones. Premier can still do it, it just seems like we arent hearin a lot of his best stuff.

By voting for “Touch and D-Stroy”, I have put a hex on the track not to win. I haven’t picked a winner in this poll since “Première Salve”.

    hy,
Sorry but for me, Nobody tryna hear ya to Khaleel is just phenomenal, because the beat is very dangerous!
    It’s a real underground joint!

The others are very good but this beat is so stronnnnnng!

    2% ???? Isn’t serious…..

I’ll take that Dynasty joint all day!
It’s probably too mellow for most of you Primo heads.

what about this one?! it came out 2 days ago, but it’s still 2013 and i think that this is definitely best Premo’s beat this year.

“Let it off” Czarface. Fav Preemo beat of 2013

Least fav Premier beat is “Kingship” Rapsody

  • Comment from MESMERIZE

The Ill Bill joint got it a couple of joints were close. World Premiere track is very creative different than I’m use to from Preem but that is not the reason the picked just thought it was the best. Also the vocal scratches which is vintage Preemo but the hook fits perfectly to rhythm of song.
