Well respected electro label Ed Banger Records and French/Serbian electro producer SebastiAn is preparing his debut album. In Europe electro is a big thing, and those who aren’t following that scene must know Ed Banger Records is the most talented label in that genre and non stop growing since 2002 over here. For me it’s funny because I also loved electro (I love so many music, damn)… I even used to have a couple of Uffie 12inches. Electro from Europe is taking his place in America like David Guetta or The Crookers, but they had to change their sound to sell for a larger (commercial) public. Ed Banger still keeps it to the real electro, just like DJ Premier does for hip hop.
But this sounds like an interesting collabo to me. DJ Premier remixed the upcoming single for SebastiAn debut album “Total”. The remix is called “Embody (DJ Premier ’95 Break Remix)” and coming out on March 28th together with the original song by SebastiAn. His album is scheduled for May 2011. Electro and hip hop always had mutual respect for each other, recognize. Lets see what it brings…
If this continues Preem will produce more for Europe than America :D.
PANCHYYYY

This is e very dope remix by Italian producer Wierdo who you can tell he’s very influenced by DJ Premier. Preemishhhhh:
I should start posting more Preemish stuff again, don’t you think Wiktor?

How five college freshmen ignited a basketball revolution.
The two-hour film airs March 13 at 9 p.m. ET on ESPN and depicts the story of Jalen Rose and his other Fab Five teammates, Chris Webber, Juwan Howard, Jimmy King and Ray Jackson. Called by some “the greatest class ever recruited,” the five freshmen not only electrified the game, but also brought new style with their baggy shorts, black socks and brash talk.
“The Fab Five” relives the recruitment process that got all five of them to Ann Arbor, the cultural impact they made, the two runs to NCAA title game, the Webber “timeout” in the 1993 championship and the scandal that eventually tarnished their accomplishments.
