Nick Javas – Opportunity Knocks (Radio Rip)

What do we have here? It’s the first official joint by Nick Javas on Year Round Records and produced by the one and only DJ Premier, no joke! And it’s not just a random hip hop track, it has a different concept thought by Nick Javas where he is trying to impress Preem with his lines. After every part Premo reacts with his scratches where Nick Javas reacts again! I assure you’re not going to forget this track so fast. And it feels so right that Preem tracks are getting leaked on the right blog hehe. “Destination Unkown” is coming, not soon, but coming with DJ Premier, Marco Polo, Statik Selektah and probably more… Enjoy!!

NYGz – Ready (Radio Rip)

Like I said: NYGz weekend on DJPremierBlog! DJ Premier talked about this record before, it was the beat that 50 Cent rejected but then suddenly used as a loop due to fans request called “Shut Ur Bloodclot Mouth“. When 50 Cent rejected the beat Preem gave it to NYGz for their upcoming album. Now we have the full version of the track and it’s fiiiiiiiire. Lol, you could use 50 cent part and add it on the track, then you have NYGz featuring 50 Cent, yeaaaaaaaaah!! I should do PR. And do you remember me saying it would be dope to have a track with the full Year Round Records roster (I wroted it in the comments)? Well, that track is in the making and is going to be released on “Pros N Cons“, and each artist will have a different beat yaya! Even Shabeeno and Panchi! WORD! Now enjoy the second leak of “Pros N Cons” “Ready“:

NYGz – Gangstaz of New York (Prod. by Thorotracks)

I think I’m going to need to change my blog name into Year Round Records blog, cause I have a new NYGz track for y’all. The group is next on the roster of Year Round Records label by DJ Premier. There album is going to call “Pros N Cons” and will be enterily produced by Premo! The release date is fall 2009, but we all know… Now this track isn’t produced by Preem so I don’t know if we’ll see an official release of it? It’s produced by Thorotracks or something like that. Uploaded on request, here for everybody and believe me, it’s going to be NYGz weekend!

Seven – Go Slow (Feat. Talib Kweli) (DJ Premier Remix)

Like I did with Laura Izibor (which I already have on 12inch), just bought the track. It’s only one euro! After the snippet now the full track, another DJ Premier Blog exclusive and Talib Kweli sounds sooooooo dope!! I want more Talib DJ Premier!! Seven did a great job hiring Premo for a remix, props but he should put the instrumental on the vinyl version! Now enjoy the full version, be open minded, but you already know it won’t sound boom bap. But another fine remix delivered right here! Maybe it’s the style Preem used for Christina Aguilera album? Who knows…

Maaaaaaan, I love it. I won’t say this often, but Premier got it in him to produce good rnb tracks. Ofcourse I can see for those who don’t like rnb and soul that they won’t like it, but you got to recognize his remixes are always on point!

Sorry for the minor updates lately, but it’s busy at work here…

Royce da 5’9″s Boom Backwards?

For most of you who owns the vinyl single this will be familiar the infamous hidden beat, if not. Go put out Royce Da 5’9″ classic track “Boom” on and make your Nu-Mark go backwards. What you’ll hear is a sample not bad at all. Is it a hidden beat? Is it a message from DJ Premier? Haha, somebody should make a dope beat out of that sample! For the digital boys, here you have the sound:

Royce da 5’9″ – Boom (Instrumental Backwards)

Ain’t Nuttin’ Changed (Queensbridge to California Remix)

Here you have the high quality version of Blaq Poet‘s “Ain’t Nuttin’ Changed (Queensbridge to California Remix)” featuring MC Eiht and Young Maylay. The video is coming soon (above picture is from the video shoot)!! Play it DJs:

I turned up the dB a little to make it more close to CDQ, like Premier says: ‘Taping the red’.

DJ Premier Intro for Soulbrotha

Soulbrotha proudly presents the long awaited album “Collector´s Item” on Chiefrocker Records available as a limited release from may 2009! Entirely produced by 12Finger Dan and B-Base from Hamburg/Germany the new album bears allegiance to the classic hip hop formula and ideals. As the culture has progressed into a industry, Soulbrotha has remained untouched and true to their love for the boom-bap-style hip hop. Guest appearances and collaborations by DJ Premier, Craig G, Sadat X, Blaq Poet, Mykill Miers, Finsta, Nut-Rageous, Kev Brown only to name a few, will take the record over the top. Each guest adds their own take on that sound and leaves the audience with a truly classic album which can and will undoubtedly stand the test of time amongst other classic hip hop records.

My personal note: Go cop that shit, the album is fire!! The vinyl version is only pressed 500 times, got my copy ;). Only at Vinylism.de and HHV.de.

Blaq Poet – Ain’t Nuttin’ Changed (Feat. MC Eiht & Young Maylay) (Queensbridge-California Remix)

Today on LiveFromHQ we had the remix aired of “Ain’t Nuttin’ Changed“, the remix was recorded when DJ Premier went to Christina Aguilera‘s house in California to make her new album. There was also a video shot for the “Queensbridge-California Remix” with MC Eiht and Young Maylay. The song provides also new lyrics by Blaq Poet! AYO!! Good to hear MC Eiht spit again, CMW!!!

The new album of NYGz will have an extended name something like this “Pros N Cons – Hustlers Union – Local NYGz“. And Royce da 5’9″ new album will be in stores in August with three new fresh Premo bangers! He’s also going to drop a EP in a couple of weeks (no new Premier tracks on that one). The album I’m waiting on is that of Big Shug, it’s going to call “Blue Collar Dollar“. There is a track called “Hard Body” which is produced by Preem with M.O.P. and Fat Joe, believe that! Well, Fat Joe still needs to record his rhymes but it will be a banger for sure. Who doesn’t want to hear that shit??!!

Here you have the Ain’t Nuttin’ Changed Remix, you can now pre order “Tha Blaqprint” almost everywhere, cop that!! Enjoy my friends:
