I want to send out my condolences to the family of Party Arty of the world famous D.I.T.C. (Diggin’ In The Crates Crew and of GG (aka Get Dirty)
He passed away this afternoon (Dec. 4) around 1:30pm due to healt complications…
His hardcore lyrics have been ringing out in the streets from Showbiz & AG, Lord Finesse, OC, and their own group GD which consists of rhyme partner D-Flow…
He also appeared on the joint I produced called “Weed Scented” which featured Guru of Gang Starr and OC on AG’s first solo LP…He appears on the new D.I.T.C. Records compilation which is in stores now called “The Movement”
…He caught the attention of 50 Cent altough the deal never went thru but his talent was recognized by true heads of the rap shit for his hyped up insane style on records and on stage preformance…
This also marks the 1 year anniversary of UGH member Pimp C who passed away this same day last year…We love you and will miss you both… R.I.P. Arty… DJ Premier

I had this a couple of weeks already, but since yesterday it is leaked by DJ Premier to promote so I can share this: the album version of Blaq Poet‘s “Ain’t Nuttin’ Changed“. Blaq Poet – Ain’t Nuttin’ Changed (Prod. by DJ Premier)
I wanted to let you know their will be a video of Blaq Poet‘s first single “Ain’t Nuttin’ Changed” for his next project. The video is recorded two weeks ago in Queensbridge and will hit this month the net!
DJ Premier recorded with Capone-N-Noreaga in october a new song called “Grand Loyal“. It’s for their next LP “Channel 10” that will be released in early 2009. The song became after Blaq Poet wanted Noreaga on his “Tha Blaqprint” album (on the song “Hey“). In exchange DJ Premier recorded with Capone-N-Noreaga. Maybe a new classic like we all remember “Invincible“!
Oh, and the beat that was used for that track is a rejected beat by Rakim.
To keep this blog alive I’ll also post stuff when I feel to it that is close to preem. We all like that raw boombap sound of Premier that made him famous in our hip hop world. But there are also other producers that can make such sound, like Alchemist for example. But I’m not going to post Alchemist joints, I’m going to keep it more on an underground level. Also notice a lot of the tracks will not only be from the US. So…
!! IF THERE IS THE WORD “PREEMISH” IN FRONT OF THE POST TITLE MEANS THAT IT’S NOT PRODUCED BY DJ PREMIER !!
Here is a canadian MC with also producer and scratching skills. This track was from his debut album “Get Some Friends” back in 2006 that was only released in Canada. The producer is himself and he also did the cuts on this one. It’s featured by Mr. Bix.
Here is something that is recently found back, it’s ripped from a tape back in 1995. Penalty Records just started in that year if I think correct. Premier was asked to make a promo tape for the record label the same year. He mixed artists like Shabazz the Disciple & Lord Finesse (yes, the lord!).
