More LiveFromHQ Recordings

Now that we are in the vibe to post new hip hop. Warning, this post got nothing to do with DJ Premier (or his label) for those who are freaking. But it’s hip hop I feel to post from last LiveFromHQ episode (dope episode!). Some new Showbiz, AG, OC, Ruste Juxx and Marco Polo! Yeah! Enjoy my internet homies:

Marco Polo & Ruste Juxx – Rearview (Prod. by Marco Polo) (Radio Rip)
From their upcoming collabo album “The eXXecution” dropping march 23rd. Featuring DJ Revolution, Rock, Sean Price, Bumpy Knuckles and Black Moon! Marco Polo is a busy cat, damn! EDIT: here you have the CDQ, thanks to Marco Polo!

Showbiz – We All (Feat. OC & AG) (Prod. by Showbiz) (Radio Rip)
From Showbiz upcoming album, planned for this summer!

Bumpy Knuckles – 81 Bars Of Murder (Prod. by Alchemist) (Radio Rip)
We know this one don’t we? Preem felt like he needed to play this old joint again, so now we got it in better quality! Alchemist! I’ve heard Cormega did a warning track or something? Well, I’m not going to spend any more time on this issue or else Bumpy will add me to his list of shit bloggers lol. Mind your own business!

Joell Ortiz – Project Boy (Radio Rip)

Slaughterhouse baby! Here I come with the highly anticipated track “Project Boy”, but I believe this guy is in general highly anticipated on the internet lol. After doing a DJ Premier tribute he has now his own Premo production! This track is featured on his second album “Free Agent”, dropping 23th of march featuring Akon, Brother Ali, Bun B, Styles P, Sheek Louch, Raekwon, Novel, Smokey Robinson, M.O.P., Slaughterhouse, Maino, Jean Grae, Talib Kweli and Bobby Ray to be exact. Production duties will be handled by Red Spyda, DJ Khalil, Lil Fame, DJ Premier, Sean C and LV , Statik Selektah, Novel, Moss, Nottz, Frequency and Frank Dukes. Quit a list. I remember his debut LP “The Brick” went as a shock in hip hop world back in 2007, lets see what he does next. Enjoy the first look of the Premo track, next is Crooked I?

Joell Ortiz – Project Boy (Radio Rip)

Nick Javas – Not A Game (Unfinished Version) (Radio Rip)

Yes sir! The first DJ Premier produced track of 2010!! Artist: Nick Javas. For his upcoming album “Destination Unknown“. It’s still an unfinished track but Premo couldn’t wait playing it. No new information on any release date, but hopefully 2010, Nick is getting in! Enjoy:

Nick Javas – Not A Game (Unfinished Version) (Radio Rip)

Ow yeah, and we have Big Shug updates, his new album has a title “I Am Forever“. The track “Hard Body” with M.O.P. and Fat Joe is almost finished, same goes for the whole album! Big Shug also finished his actor job, for the Ben Affleck movie “The Town” where he plays Kenny the drugdealer, release september 10th.

And for those who doubt this blog, lemme hold this track for a little while; tomorrow I’m going to upload “Project Boy” by Joell Ortiz for his upcoming album “Free Agent“. Unless somebody is faster. Later.

R.I.P. Johnny Dankworth

R.I.P. to Johnny Dankworth. Most of you know why I post this… He died at a age of 82. Much respect to the younger generation who recognize this unique artist. Also happy birthday to Jay Dee (in all honestly, I played this year more Jay Dee then DJ Premier I think). Good day to think about life.
