this would been ok if it wasnt for those awful synths fuck is up with that! Track didnt need it at all. Im sure premo could have hooked kane up witha better beat than this.

  • Comment from gave cash

kane did his thing beat was wack tho!

  • Comment from yoyo

Why is Premo using that lame synth thing all the time? Planet Phatt? The strings should have sounded more 70s just like the sample. This doesn’t fit at all. It’s just too clean.. just like Blaq Poet – Hood Crazy.

It’s alright. Nothing special. Good to see Preemo working with Kane again.

  • Comment from Brooklyn

Preemo is and always be my fave, I’m hoping he recaptures that sound he perfected especially on Jeru’s both albums. I think that’s what everybody is waiting for and expecting. But remember to be respectful, this is his blog.

Shoot. I LOVE THIS BEAT!! PREMIER DID IT AGAIN. I don’t know what you guys talking about.

I like this beat a lot too. Nothin wrong with him switchin up his sound on different tracks.

@Brooklyn this is not HIS blog.

Problem with the synth strings is that they sound too clean. Make it sound like you sampled them and it will fit the rest..

  • Comment from Who Shot John

Beat is dope. Im guessing the use of synths is too avoid any sample clearances. Due to the fact this is a Nike project, it’s just business. He still kept it gutter.

beat bangs…so does kane but yeah agree the synth ruins it big time…it ends up sounding like real beginner stuff!!!

  • Comment from Rick Dolo

c.r.e.a.m if this was a beat among 10/10 beats that would surprise us for good day by day…then alright…but yeah, money is the motivator…you feel it, don´t ya? no hate…let´s keep pure honesty alive!!!

  • Comment from Mac Hustle

Kane is dope, beat is OK, synths are wac but yeah probably using them for Nike …if that’s the new Akai MPC Renaissance it sounds real thin, he should def stay with the MPC 60.

  • Comment from Kweli

    Loving it!

  • Comment from Real Talk

Beat is very boring, wtf with premo lately, how no give to kane the beats that he deserve

  • […] fits Preemo’s as ever on point production perfectly. The two recently joined up again for a nike commercial with the brilliant 28 bars, which features the genius closing gambit “I went on 28 just to raise the bars”. […]
