give dj finesse some luv, he’s been killin it everytime fillin in 4 preem, just recognize real, doesn’t matter which deejay spins it, as long as the music is dope

  • Comment from Jaime

Finesse does a good job filling in for Preem

  • Comment from LamarMatic

No hate against Finesse, but come on where’s Preem? Wasn’t he supposed to be back this week? OK he’s doing a great job, but you cannot compare his scratching with Premo’s.

i heard that in 2 weeks yearroundrecords website is going on the internet can`t wait for that

  • Comment from Dick B.

I can’t wait for Preem to release some material whether it be year round record albums, stuff with other artists or t-shirts. But most importantly Hustla’s Union: Local NYG.

Whats the name of the song which goes :”What happened new york new york new york,Djs used to break…”
    this song is craazy!!

by the way and whats the name of that “break night” joint at min 39??
    shit is crazy:D

  • Look, this show is all about DJ PREMIER so of course we wanna hear DJ Premier talk and spin on his show. Finesse is DOPE, the exact kinda DJ I enjoy listening to myself, but everytime Preem is gone I’m always left a little disappointed. Yes of course “as long as the music is dope” is right, but who the DJ is does matter to a degree.

yeah no doubt but premo is absent not because he doesn’t want to do the show, but because he’s a busy man and gotta meet the deadline. we all should respect it, OF COURSE I prefer premo as well, but at least they’re tryin’ to keep on with their dope radio shows, and not to mention, they call preem for a chat, so to me it’s all good. 1

@Guilty. Nikal Fieldz – What Happened (Feat. KRS-One & Li)?
Haven’t listened to it yet, so don’t know, but sounds like this is the right joint.

Is there an instrumental for New York State of Mind pt.2?
I heard a little bit of the beat on a Pharoahe Monch Tim Westwood freestyle recently.

  • AMAru, I feel you man… And of course I know Preem’s away cuz he’s a busy man, but that still doesn’t take away from the slight disappointment I feel when he’s not there. Thankfully all three of his replacements are dope… Eclipse, JS-1 and Finesse. Personally, I like JS-1 the most. I’m out here in Cali and listened to the King Tech Wake Up Show since ’91 and since ’96 the DJ has been DJ Revolution, who’s one of the sickest DJ’s, period. Rev & JS-1 have very similar styles.
