Amazing video Justin! Big ups for making this movie, and hopefully a lot of people will watch it and educate themselves and realize what an amazing talent and legend, the Elam family & Hip-Hop community lost.
I shed a tear watching this movie, remembering the countless hours I’ve spent listening to Gangstarr and how lucky I am to have been given the pleasure to live in the same time and age as the legendary, Guru.

Guru would’ve been proud, Justin. Keep doing your thing!

    R.I.P

Gangstarr was a unstoppable force. Combining Jazz and Hip/hop that engaged listeners all around da world, just saw a fan from France giving a shout out(Up top)..That is how STRONG there music was. Gangstarr one of the best; if not the best hiphop group of ALL time. Dj Premier with his intelligent ways, giving off samples from all ova da world. Very original, and wish him well and keep on doing his thang. DJ premier has worked with alot of underground Kats and alot of well known kats as well. G.U.R.U, BIG ups to you Playa, giving off dat raw vibe from Jazzmatazz and Gangstarr. It left us (True Fans) with a mark forver embedded into our souls. I’m only 24 years old and gotta thank Gangstarr, G.U.R.U, Pete Rock &CL Smooth, MainSource, O.C, A.G, Big L of course, Binary Star, Decompoze, BlackStar, Mos Def, Talib, Jeru, Digable Planets…the list is too LONG!!! Word up, and as Guru would say “WORD IS BOND”

Justin great job on the documentary. Guru is one of the greatest of all time his music was timeless the songs that I listened to in the late 80’s and and 90’s are the same nostalgic songs that get everyone that knew true Hip Hop going today, when we hear one of his old school songs. Guru was special and I am glad we had him on this earth for the time that he was here, because he sure could rock a mike. R.I.P Guru and God bless the dead.
